Taste of…Spring’s New Wine Releases!
Celebrate the arrival of Spring with the wine trail, April, 2022!
The wineries of the Berks County Wine Trail, invite you to go local.
Our “Taste of new wine releases”. See each wineries website for new wines ready for enjoyment. It’s the ideal opportunity to discover new vintages, new wine styles and what makes winemaking in Berks County so special. Each winery has updated information on their website about local delivery, curbside pickup or shipping. It’s a great way to try new wonderful wines.
Deerfoot Winery (Shoemakersville) 2022 Deerfoot will be releasing the first vintage of NY81, a semi-sweet aromatic white wine made from NY 81 grapes. We are also re-releasing our Siren Song Apple Mead. There will be free food pairings available to try with the new wines and we will also have food available to purchase from Schaeffer Catering from 12-5 on Saturday April 23rd.
Stonekeep Meadery (Fleetwood) 2020 Red Sangria is wonderful served chilled, just as is. But adding some chopped fruits like oranges, cherries, or grapes, makes this wine truly festive! Curb-side, 7 days. In store, Thu-Fri 12-6, Sat 11-7, Sun 12-5.
Lil’s Winery
Stone Barn Cellars & Winery (Spring City) 2022 Stop in and try our wine Hat Trick, a dry red blend of Baco Noir, Corot Noir and Noiret. Aged 6 years, this red is very smooth and full of dark plum and leather notes.

Ridgewood Winery (Birdsboro) – 2022 Ridgewood Winery will be releasing a new product to our line this spring for the BCWT: Frontenac Gris (AKA Ridgewood white) – this white wine begins with subtle sweet pineapple and finishes with a very light lemon peel, or is it tangerine? or grapefruit? You tell us, either way it’s worth a taste… maybe the best part is its flavor as a frozen drink. pH – 2.9, R.S. 1.6, ABV 12.7% Come see us and try it both ways during the 2022 Berks County Wine Trial new release weekend.
Setter Ridge Vineyards 2022 Stop by Setter Ridge Vineyards to enjoy a release of our newest creations – Sangria. We will have samples of both our Mango Peach Sangria & our Mojito Sangria (both made with white wine blends). Enjoy 10% off both wines all weekend long
Long Trout Winery (Auburn) 2020 The warm-weather months are around the corner and Lemon Squeezer is back on the shelf at Long Trout Winery.
