Pairing with Purpose - Harvest Wine and Food Pairings
October is PA Wine Month!
We are putting a fresh spin on our annual wine and cheese event this year. In coordination with Helping Harvest Food Bank, we will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items for donation at each winery location. Also, a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to Helping Harvest Food Bank.
Ticket holders visiting each winery, during their self-guided tour will be delighted by artisnal cheeses and other fall / harvest themed food pairings matched with locally produced wines. This event will take place over two weekends and is a ticketed event.
$12 pre-sale and $18 at the door

Deerfoot Winery (Shoemakersville)
Get SQUASHED! We will be featuring a butternut squash soup and pumpkin pie paired with our Cranberry Riesling.
New Wine Release – – – Our Cabernet Franc Reserve will go on sale for wine trail weekend.
Pairings will include caramel and spice chocolate pumpkins from John and Kiras for the first 50 guests on SUNDAY Oct 5th.
Please be aware of foot traffic if parking in the overflow area behind the barn.
Blue Mountain Winery (New Tripoli)
NOTE : Blue Mtn Winery will be closed Oct 11th for a private event.
We are pairing a personal charcuterie board with your choice of a pairing of Rottie White (sweet), Fat Bottomed Merlot (semi-sweet) or Pinot Noir (dry).
Here’s our event schedule for the Pairing with Purpose Weekends:
- Oct. 4th: 1pm – Winery tour with wine/cheese or wine/chocolate tasting– Preregistration required.2pm – Music Bingo – Reservations are recommended and free
- Oct. 5th:12-5pm – The Iron Grille Food Truck will be onsite2-5pm – James Supra Band – Reservations are recommended and free
- Oct. 11th:CLOSED for a private function
- Oct. 12th:1pm – Winery tour with wine/cheese or wine/chocolate tasting – Preregistration required.2-5pm – Scott Marshall and the Highway Souls

Setter Ridge Vineyards (Kutztown)
At Setter Ridge Vineyards, we’re happy to be pairing Pumpkin Chocolate
Chip cookies with our Gewurztraminer & Coffee & Cream Pretzels paired
with our Pinot Noir. These bottles will be 10% off all weekend.
In addition, with your donation of non-perishable items valued at $5 or more, you’ll receive a complimentary glass of wine of your choice. (One available per person).
Please note that we do close at 5:00pm. Ticket holders need to be onsite prior to 4:45pm & complimentary glasses of wine need to be claimed priorto 4:30pm.

Smoked cheddar cheese paired with Niagara wine
Kog Hill Winery (Morgantown)
Riesling → Pair with dried apricots + candied pecans
Harmony → Pair with pumpkin bread
Stonekeep Meadery (Fleetwood)
Stonekeep will have Smoked Colby cheese paired with a Dry Riesling or semi swwet Cayuga.
Pizza Cheese Curds paired with Blueberry Mead.
Bouchette Vineyards (Bethel)
We are pairing a sharp cheddar with pumpkin cider and a mini pumpkin cookie with cream cheese icing with our apple cider.
Manatawny Creek (Douglassville)
Manatawny Creek Winery will have a Spiced Apple Spritz paired with a chipotle cheese. The Spritz will be created with our estate grown Riesling, club soda, spiced simple syrup and a Tajin coated rim.
Ridgewood Winery (Birdsboro)
Ridgewood Winery in Birdsboro will be serving a pumpkin spice cake with our Olde Orchard and a cube of blue cheese paired with our Underground (blackberry merlot)
Ridgewood Winery in Bechtelsville will be serving an apple spice cake with our Olde Orchard and 3-year-aged Gouda paired with our Pinot Noir.
